To reduce the number of cleaning products you bring home is to clean with products you have. People have been cleaning with household products like vinegar, baking soda, and lemons (or lemon juice) for a long time. These items are safe and effective. Vinegar is not a disinfectant but it will kill bacteria you want to avoid. White Vinegar can be used to clean different things around your home. Here are just a few tips and suggestions on what you can clean with vinegar
Cleaning the kitchen
Clean the coffeemaker: Run the machine with an equal part of water and vinegar. Halfway through cleaning, turn it off and let it stay for an hour. Then complete the remaining
Open a drain: Pour half cup vinegar and half cup baking soda in the drain. Rinse with water completely.
Clean the microwave: Put one cup of vinegar and one cup of water in a bowl and turn the microwave on high for about 10 minutes. After that stains and dry stuff should be easy to clean away.
Make glasses Shine: Put one cup of vinegar in the dishwasher before you run it. After you run the dishwasher, your glassware should be sparkling shiny.
In the home
Glass Cleaning: Mix one tablespoon of vinegar in a quarter of water. Spray onto glass surfaces and dry it with a wipe. Your Glass should look like new and give a sparkling shine.
Remove Stains from walls: Spray vinegar on the walls, let it stay for 15 minutes, rinse and let it dry. Walls shall be stain and spot free,
Clean spills and Spots on the carpet: After removing much liquid as you can, spray the stain and spot with a solution of half vinegar and half water and let stay for two minutes. Clean it with a fiber cloth or towel. The Carpet shall be stain free.
